THE BIBLE— what is the Bible…

The Bible is the holy book of life. It is the full and final revelation of God. That is why it is termed “the word of God.” Both the Old and New Testament are to be considered as solemn changes from the mouth of God Himself. In the Old testament the new testament the new testament is considered ( Typology is used). In the New testament, the old testament is revealed. Both testaments are imperative to the full understanding of the trinity and their operations…. Who WROTE THE BIBLE…. Written by 40 different men from various walks of life. They were all jews, except for Luke who was Greek. God breathed to these men who were merely inspired by the Holy Spirit to write the oracles of God.(Matthew 22:29, Luke 21:33, 2Peter 1:20-21, Galatians 1:11-12, 1Thes.2:13). Therefore, God is the author because every Word written in the Bible originated from Him and not from those used to write it. Thus the Bible became a revelation made known to men, through men and for mankind…. WHAT IS THE SUBJECT OF THE BIBLE… The full and final revelation of God through Jesus Christ. (John 5:39). The redemption plan of man through Christ Jesus is also the key subject of the Bible. Prophetic records about the earth from beginning to the end are outlined as well. Also enclosed in the Bible are th living morals and principles for the human race, both spiritually, mentally, socially and physically. LASTING IMPRESSIONS..

Have you ever seen a really attractive person– some people can’t help but turn and stare at as they walk by people with great God give beauty may make a great impression, but it will be forgotten when the next beautiful person come along. What about a person who really knows Jesus and walks with Him? God’s grace and mercy flow through this person, resulting in encouraging words and good works. Do others pay attention when someone lives this way? We might not notice them at first, but their godly deeds leaves an impression of goodness, and peoples lives can be changed because of them. Each of those two people makes an impression. But only the second can impact others with eternal consequences…. Jesus loves you all. Amen

THE POWER OF ENCOURAGEMENT.

Scripture: And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. Hebrew 10:24-25… SUCCESS WITH GODLY ADVICE.. God tell us in proverbs: plans go wrong for lack of advice; many advisers bring success, (proverbs 15-22). We knew we couldn’t do anything good or well without God’s help, guidance, and blessing. And God often uses godly friends and family to speak His guidance into our lives… HELP FROM YOUR FRIENDS… When starting out in spiritual task or mission, it is a blessing to have a group to support you. Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help (Ecclesiates 4:9-10). When life’s trouble get you down, your believing friends can help you get back on track. Their prayers, advice, and encouragement can be God’s answer to your prayers for help… Don’t lose hope in Jesus. May Him be with you all, have a wonderful day and ba blessed Amen.

Jesus followers leaned mostly by spending time with Him, watching and listening as He taught others. When they were ready, He gave specific instruction and then sent them on a mission: The Lord now chose 70 others disciples and sent them to all the towns and places He planned to visit(Luke 10:1). Happy new year.. As winds down, are you making new years Resolution? One of mine is to turn my life completely over God and stop worrying about the future and having a successful life. Matthew 6:25-29. Is encouraging on this issue! Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to His span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these… In Jesus Name Amen.

Scripture… Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom. Luke 12:32. Have you ever heard the term a pat on the back? When someone does something well, people might congratulate them by patting their back or should. Some people like receiving high-fives, handshakes, or hugs in response to a job well done. When you do something well, how do people let you know? And how does that make you feel? When someone indicates appreciation for my work- or even my effort toward a task- it makes me feel good. It encourages me to continue to work hard and to do my best. God bless you all Amen.

EVERTHING THAT WE HAVE IS A GIFT FROM GOD. LEARN HOW TO GIVE A 10%

God’s greatest gift. Jesus. Gave up everything for us, including His life we rae called to do the same; we cannot keep somethings to ourselves. God made us stewards or managers of all that we have. And everything we have is the Lords. This including our finances. Believers should pray and seek the Lord about giving financially to His work. Where has good moved your heart? Is it to help the poor? Your local church? Do you have a desire to train new believers? Giving financially to God’s work is an honor and privilege. Some suggest that you give 10% of your income if possible. This is not a requirement, simply an offering to the Lord. Be wise in your giving, take care of your family and loved ones. Never let a person persuade you to give money to a cause outside of the Lord’s work. Pray and seek the Lord’s guidance in giving and be a good steward of your resource. On a regular basis spend time reading and gaining wisdom from the book of Proverbs…. Read: Mathew 10:16/ Mathew 25:14-30/ Proverbs 1:1-31-31. May God bless you all in Jesus Name Amen.

HOW CAN ONE GOD BE THREE PERSONS.

The doctrine of the Trinity- that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are each equally and eternally the one true God- is admittedly difficult to comprehend, and yet is the very foundation of Christian truth. Although skeptics may ridicule it as a mathematical impossibility, it is nevertheless a basic doctrine of scripture as well as profoundly realistic in both universal experience and in the scientific understanding of the cosmos. Both old and new testaments teach the unity and the Trinity of the God head. The idea that there is only one God, who created all things, is repeatedly emphasized in such Scriptures as(Isaiah 45:18). For thus saith the Lord that created the heaven; God Himself that formed the earth and made it; I am the Lord; and there is none else.” A New Testament Example is (James 2:19). Thou believe that there is one God; thou does well the devils also believe, and tremble.” The Three Person of the God Head are at the same time, noted in such Scriptures as (Isaiah 48:16). I have not spoke in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there Am I; and now the Lord God, and His Spirit, hath sent me.” The speaker in this verse is obviously God, and yet He says He has been sent both by the Lord God( that is, the Father) and by His Spirit( that is, the Holy Spirit). The New Testament doctrine of the Trinity is evident in such a verse as(John 15:26). RIGHT LIVING FAITHFULLY.

While leading others in their faith, we must keep an eye on our own lives, making sure that we are living what we are teaching. Jesus said,”Why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye”(matthew 7:3-5) you will harm your disciples if you display a lifestyle of saying one thing while doing another. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did” (1john 2:6). Bible- based Teaching The Apostle Paul wrote to his disciple, Timothy,” all scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us realize what is wrong in our lives. ATONEMENT… The event that enables us to be reconciled to God. To atone is to suffer the penalty for sin, thereby removing the effects of sin from repentant sinners. Jesus Christ was the only one capable of making a perfect Atonement for all mankind. His Atonement included His suffering for our sins, the shedding of His Blood, and His death and Resurrection. Because of the Atonement, everyone who has lived will be resurrected. The Atonement also provides us with a way to be forgiven of our sins and to live forever with God…. BAPTISM. An essential step in receiving forgiveness of sins. Through baptism and confirmation by priesthood authority, we become members of The Church of Jesus Christ Baptism is by immersion, meaning that the person being baptized is briefly submerged in water. Baptism shows our willingness to follow Christ’s example and to make covenants with God…. Confirmation. The way a person receives the Holy Spirit. In this ordinance, which usually takes place in sacrament meeting soon after baptism, the person is confirmed, or made, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ… COVENANT. An agreement between God and His children. God gives the conditions for the covenant, and we agree to obey Him. God promises certain blessings for our obedience. In Jesus Name Amen.

Grace- Divine help and strength given through the mercy and love of Jesus Christ. Through His grace, made possible by His Atonement, all mankind will resurrected. Through His grace, those who continually repent and live according to His gospel will feel an enduring closeness to their Heavenly Father in this life and live in His presence after this life…. SALVATION-. Deliverance from sin and death. Salvation is made possible by the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, everyone will be able to overcome the effects of death. We can also be saved from the effects of our sins through faith in Jesus Christ. This faith is manifested in a life of repentance and obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel and service to Christ. God Bless you Amen.

Through baptism by one who holds priesthood authority and through receiving the Holy Ghost, you will be spiritually reborn…. Why Do I Need to Be Baptized? Jesus Christ set the example for us by being baptized to fulfil all righteousness” (Mattew 3:15). When you are baptized, you receive a remission of your sins (see Act 2:38). You make a covenant, or promise, with God: you promise to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour, to follow Him, and to keep His commandments. If you do your part, your Heavenly Father promise to forgive your sins. When you are baptized by proper authority, your sins are washed away. Baptism involves a brief immersion in water. This is how Jesus Christ was baptized. Baptism by immersion is a sacred symbol of the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, it represents the end of your old life and the beginning of a new life as a follower of Jesus Christ. Why Do I Need to Receive the Holy Ghost? While baptism washes you of your sins, the Holy Ghost sanctifies, or purifies, you. If you remain faithful to your baptismal covenants, you can have the Holy Ghost with you always: Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.” John 3:5.

But the Saviour suffered for our sins so they can be put behind us, even the serious ones. The result of true repentance is for giveness, peace, comfort, and joy. Repentance does not always mean making big changes. Often it simply requires an increased commitment to live according to God’s will. True repentance does not always happen quickly; be patient with yourself as you strive to do what is right and correct mistakes you make. As you repent, you will experience a change of heart. You will no longer desire to sin. You will come to know that you are a child of God and that you need not continue making the same mistakes over and over. Your desire to follow God will grow stronger and deeper……. We all make mistakes. Sometimes we harm ourselves and seriously injure others in ways that we alone cannot repair. We break things that we alone cannot fix. Then we feel guilt, humiliation, and suffering, which we alone cannot cure. FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST: AND REPENTANCE.

Faith is a strong belief that motivates a person to act. Faith that leads to forgiveness of sins is centered in Jesus Christ, whose atonement makes forgiveness possible. Faith in Jesus Christ is more than a passive belief in Him. It means believing that He is the Son of God and that He suffered for your sins, afflictions, and infirmities. It means acting on that belief. Faith in Jesus Christ leads you to love Him, trust Him, and obey His commandments. REPENTANCE. Faith in Jesus Christ leads you to want to change your life for the better. As you study the gospel, you recognize that you have sinned, or acted against the will and teachings of God. Through repentance, you change those thoughts, desire, habits, and actions that are not in harmony with God’s teachings. He promises that when you repent, He will forgive your sins. When you repent: recognize that you have sinned and feel sincere sorrow for what you have done. Stop doing what is wrong, and strive never to do it again. Confess your sins to the Lord and ask for forgiveness. Doing so relieves a heavy burden. If you have sinned against another person, you also ask that person for forgiveness. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6. Amen

HOW DO I HANDLE TOUGH TIMES AND TEMPTATIONS?

Does becoming a follower of Christ exempt you from difficulty? No. You are not miraculously whisked into a trouble free glass bubble when you are born again. Rather, you become a battlefield, where you contend with ongoing temptations and daunting challenges. Though we received a new nature at conversion, we inherited a nasty carry over from our former life called the old nature. That legacy from the past hangs around, throwing up roadblocks to the Christ centered life. It’s not easy to disconnect from ideas and habits that have defined us for so long. But there’s good news! Jesus took our old nature to the grave when He was crucified. The new nature He gave us in it’s place intended to fully displace the old. Our job now is to be aggressive in making that happen. The apostle paul says, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus’ Romans 6:11 NIV. In other words, render effective what Christ did on your behalf. In Galatians 5:16-17, we are challenged to live by the new nature. Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. That means you allow the Holy Spirit, now living in you, to shape your thoughts, guide your steps, govern your reactions and correct you when you stray. The old nature is real. But God enables and empowers you to walk in victory. Amen

The Gospel Of Jesus Christ; What Is The Gospel Jesus Christ?

The gospel of Jesus Christ is our Heavenly Father’s plan for the happiness and salvation of His children. It is called the gospel of Jesus Christ because the atonement of Jesus Christ is central to this plan. According to His plan, our Heavenly Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to show us how to live meaningful and happy lives and experience eternal joy after this life. Through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. You can become clean from sin and enjoy peace of conscience. You can become worthy to live in our Heavenly Father’s presence after this life. To receive this peace and strength, you must learn and follow the principles and ordinances of the gospel. A principle is a truth that can be applied in life; an ordinance is a sacred, formal act performed by the authority of the priesthood and is often a means of entering into a covenant with our Heavenly Father. The first principles of the gospel are faith in Jesus Christ and repentance. The first ordinances of the gospel are baptism and receiving the Holy Ghost. After you learn and follow the first principles and ordinances of the gospel, you seek to follow Christ’s example throughout the remainder of your life. This continued faithfulness is called enduring to the end.”

IS IT REALLY POSSIBLE TO LOVE OTHERS?

God’s second great commandment is, you shall love your neighbour as yourself- Matthew 22:39, the first commandment is to love God- heart, mind soul and strength.) I find that loving othrs can be a difficult assignment, especially when the others have treated me badly- for example, those to whom I have loaned money and who have neither repaid the loan, nor have made any attempt to do so. You could be facing a far more difficult situation, such as an unfaithful marriage partner or an abusive parent. Loving such people may seem impossible. There are two keys to our successfully loving others. First, loving others. Requirement, not an option. We may not feel like loving someone who has deeply offendend us. But God requires us. To decide to forgive and love that person in spite of the offense. In my experience, feelings will eventually follow. But the starting point is always a decision- to forgive and to love. Second, we are only truly able to love others based on God’s love toward and through us. Imagine His love as an inexhaustible river of water flowing into us and out through us to others. He is the source we are conduits. People e encounter are recipients- very possibly experiencing a quality of love they’ve never known. Loving others is a privilege and responsibility that comes directly from God’s heart. Key verse abound in love to one another: Thessalonians 3:12

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE?

Some have the misunderstanding that once we become believers we can continue to live life on our own. I sometimes fall into that trap, thinking my abilities are sufficient. Consider your personal talents. You may possess great verbal, analytical or athletic skills. But be careful, for those very strengths can be barriers to God’s best. God’s intention is not that we be self-sufficient, but that we live humbly submitted to Him in close, dependent relationship. By now, it should not surprise you that He didn’t give you an impossible assignment. Rather, He made the surrendered life possible by sending us His ongoing presence in the person of the Holy Spirit. You will find Jesus, description of the Holy Spirit in John chapter 14: verses 16,17 and 26. There you will meet Him as lifelong counselor, helper, companion, teacher and friend. Don’t expect the Holy Spirit to come with great fanfare or dazzling brilliance, He works quietly, never intruding. He always points to Jesus, never to Himself. When we are sensitive to His presence He whispers in our ear and tugs at our heart. He is committed to abide with us forever. Amen

How can I be sure of God’s love the great evangelist, said the more I read the Bible, the more I realized that love is God’s supreme attribute. I’ve had times when I like you have felt far away from god’s love. Perhaps you grew up in a broken home with little or no affection from your parents. You may have lost loved ones to illness, accident or war. You may have faced poverty and famine as daily realities. Pain is continuously nearby. Where is God’s love in all this I believe God’s heart aches more than we can ever know at the suffering, injustice and heave burdens His children encounter. Sin, when brought consequences that affect our lives every day. But God’s love for each of us was supremely evident when He sent His Son, Jesus, to buy us back, or, redeem us from sins terrible impact. John’s gospel tell us: God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life john 3:16 when you yielded your life to God you came face to face with your Heavenly Fathers love. Now, as you continue your journey, lean into and draw deeply from Him. God loves you!

In a total Eclipse, the moon completely covers the Sun, while an annular Eclipse occurs when the moon is at its farthest from the earth and does not block out the sun completely, leaving a halo of sunlight still visible around the moon.
